Planning
Make sure you have an outline of your special day so that you can include everything you want.
Budget
Everyone needs to understand what the maximum is, so draw up a rough estimate of costs and always haggle remember you can shop around you do not have to book the first one.
Timing
Ensure you allow yourself enough time to organise everything and allow plenty of time for delays from suppliers and other problems.
Confirmation
Make sure you confirm all bookings at 6 and 3 weeks before the big day so that rearrangements can be made if necessary.
Friends
Your friends will be there for you, so ensure that you use and abuse them, remember that you will only be in this position once!
